The lift comes to a stop, and the gate opens up, revealing the Level One Lift Lobby beyond.

Gnorba says, "Thanks for your patience, we have arrived. Please step off the lift, as I may have to move

to another floor shortly."

The lift is a large metal box approximately six feet wide by four feet deep, and about seven feet tall.

The front of the lift is open, so that passengers may step out onto their floor when necessary. The

floor has been covered with an intricately designed plush rug. A large system of ropes and pulleys

passes through a hole in the floor, and an identical one in the ceiling. A large crank wheel interfaces

with this system, and apparently moves the lift up or down.

There is one obvious exit: out.
